An unusual twist on a spring day, this is a tunnel view of the "dome of the sky." This photo was taken in rural College Station, Texas by photographer and artist Nikki Smith. It makes me feel like I'm falling towards the sky when I look at it...I catch my balance, and then my breath...how about you?
This image also recently tied for third place in an FAA contest, along with my Wee Paris Twilight Planet image.
