Description
This Wee Planet is straight from the imagination of artist Nikki Smith.
My latest wee planet seamlessly blends reality and imagination into a vision of what-might-be. A giraffazelle roams the meadow near the ruins of the Chapel of Saint Birgitta on this peaceful morning.
I begin with a 360 degree panorama photo and enhance it to bring the planet of my imagination to life. The setting for this planet is the ruins of the Chapel of Saint Birgitta in Kapelludden, Oland (courtesy of Alex Nordstrom). The giraffazelle in the foreground is an elusive creature, part giraffe, part gazelle and often camera-shy. My final step in crafting a new planet is to convert the panorama into a stereographic projection as a "Wee Planet".

I like the concept of these Wee Planets, and you really bring them to life, I love the giraffazelle in this one.
