This artwork series is based upon vintage US patent drawings of ingenious and notable inventions, in this case, a1981 patent demonstrating how to make a baseball. This is sheet 2 (figures 7-11); there is a companion artwork for sheet 1 (figures 1-6). (This patent artwork also available in a variety of styles.)
